Youth Pillar units are launched in colleges to facilitate an early anti-corruption sensitization program to students which proves to be kind of a vaccination against the vicious disease of corruption. Through the Youth Pillar Units, college students are empowered to obtain driving licenses and voter ID cards as soon as they reach the legal age (18 years, usually in the 2nd year of college) and a passport (usually before they finish final year of college). Students are encouraged to conduct 4 to 5 awareness programs every year within the college premises during annual functions and festivals in the college.
